Breaking Cherry

Description

SSA Juicy Cherries and TPA Pineapple are really great at balancing eachother out. Somehow the cherry batters away some the acidity of TFA Pineapple, while the pineapples add some life to the big, dumb flavor of SSA Juicy Cherries. The pineapples lend a hot top-end, while SSA Juicy Cherries fills out the body very well. The end-product is not really Cherry OR Pineapple, but is delicious and unique and flavorful as hell. I’m really happy with the tartness this recipe brings. It has a great natural sweetness without any sweetener. The final product is tangy, bouncy, and saturated with flavor. Originally this was just a 2-flavor recipe. VT Sugarloaf was added later because it is delicious, and because it helped keep the percentage of TPA Pineapple lower for sensitive throats. Most importantly, this recipe taught me that the best way to create a good mix is to keep it fuckin’ simple. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: TPA Pineapple can be a harsh flavor for people who are sensitive to some flavors. 2% is a low percentage, but please just be aware if yer sensitive. In a pinch, one could probably sub 1.5% SSA Compote Cherry for SSA Juicy Cherries, because they’re pretty similar. SSA Juicy Cherries is a great flavor to boost the “middle” of a fruit recipe. If one of your fruit recipes needs more body, SSA Juicy Cherries can usually help!
