Pineapple Cream Soda Float
Description
My inspiration for this recipe came from a combo of Jai Haze always using Pineapple Cream Soda juice in his reviews, and from Wayne’s Cream Soda recipe on Live Mixing. My input was the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I used it to round out a Banana Cream Pie pre mix from Gremberry Farms, which is amazing btw.
Sweet pineapple notes up front. The main focus was bringing out the pineapple. I used FW Pineapple to add depth to the CAP Golden Pineapple. The pineapple blends with the cream soda notes in the middle. I found TPA Cream Soda to be a little overpowering so I added FW Root Beer Float, FW Sweet Cream and INW Shisha Vanilla to smooth it out and enhance the vanilla notes. While also enhancing the vanilla bean ice cream that really kicks in on the exhale. So far I’ve found CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to be great at providing a distinguished tail note.
I like sweet, and this recipe is a fairly intensely flavored mix. It can be dropped down to 0.5 on the Super Sweet if needed. It can be a shake and vape, but for best results 4 to 5 days to steep. It will bring out the contrasting flavors way more.
My first original recipe. Hopefully someone finds it and leaves me feedback. I may tweak a few things but I like how this came out at version 2. Version 1 was overly cream soda’y with the pineapple barely present. I read somewhere that CAP Golden Pineapple is mild and needed to be used in higher %, and made that adjustment. Being my first original recipe, I may have over done it on the percentages. Let me know. Recipe
