Pineapple Cronut

Description

This is a pineapple and cream cheese filled cronut mixed for the Mixen Vixens play along. The fillings are pineapple which was a combination of Funky Pineapple, Sugarloaf and Liquid Amber to give a cooked pineapple compote with a little freshness left in it by the sugarloaf. The other filling is cream cheese which I used Cream Cheese Icing and Meringue. The pastry is a combination of stages of the dough being fried. The wOw represents the inner section, the Egg Roll is there for flakiness and lightly fried aspect and the Deep Fried Pastry Dough is the outermost fried layer and it’s dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar.
