B.B.W. (Belgian Waffle, Blueberries, and Whipped Cream)

Description

Took a bit of inspiration from Wolfwheeler for the waffle base and started with Classic Belgian Waffle and Crisp waffle for the waffle base. I think MB Classic Belgian Waffle MAY be the most authentic waffle currently available already, and I feel like crisp waffle just brought a much needed crispy edge and waffle iron effect to the party, LB Belgian waffle provides additional support in the profile. For the topping I wanted to do something simple yet effective, so for that I used VT Bilberry Ripe and FA Bilberry to bring some nice, jammy blueberry compote to the party. After that I topped it all off with some whipped cream. That’s where SSA Whipped cream came in as a test, FLV Sweet Cream supports the profile and brings out the whipped cream notes with an authentic cream note that lingers and coats the palate. Off the shake this is definitely vapable. It kind of reminds me of a Eggo waffle flavor with blueberry syrup, and some subtle yet present creamyness in the finish. After about a 10 day to 2 week steep the whipped cream rounds off and finishes developing. sweetener is optional but recommended. I use FW sweetener at 0.25%, It brings the Blueberry Compote and Whipped Cream some welcome separation and enhances the layering, making the flavors pop a little more. If you mix this and have any feedback send a DM, I’d be glad to have it. Go easy on me! This isn’t my first attempt at a recipe, but it’s one of them.
