The Milky Way

Description

It tastes like a Milky way candy bar, minus the caramel, blended into a glass of Oak Milk (chocolate drink) with hazelnuts and wafer cookies. "Oak Milk" the flavoring is one of the few chocolate type flavors that I actually like to work with. The Vanilla for Pipe is really not a tobacco flavor at all in my opinion. To me Vanilla for pipe is just a really great vanilla flavor and it works fantastic in this recipe. I use TFA VC1 to thicken up the milkiness of this dessert drink and add a nice buttery flavor to the chocolate and the milky notes. Hazelnuts and cream by WF add another dimension to this mix adding to the candy bar qualities I was going for. Crispy wafer is also here to add to the Milky way vibe, even though an actual Milky way has no wafer in it. Its mainly here to support the hazelnut, Oak Milk and Vanilla Custard Nougatine. The Vanilla Custard Nougatine (V.C.N) is my main flavor that I built this recipe around. It provides the nougat that I need for the candy bar flavor I was going for in this milky drink recipe, as well as satisfying the need for good vanilla components, body and proper pairings. V.C.N is a main note and a bridge throughout the recipe. Oak milk is an outstanding chocolate drink flavor. I wouldn't go so far as to call it chocolate milk, but its pretty close. It works beautifully to create a light chocolate-ish milk base for me to work off of in this recipe.
