Nonna's Custard Cake

Built this recipe around FA's Nonna's Cake. I call this recipe Nonna's Custard Cake. FA's Nonna's Cake has a hint of Anise. Adding MB Legendary Custard was a perfect fit as it also has Anise and is fast becoming my favorite custard. To bridge the two flavors, I added .2% VT Bakery Spice. I always use CAP Cereal 27 when building a cake. It gives the cake substance and it's crusty edge. If you're a fan of Anise you will love this!! Please enjoy and feedback welcomed!!
