Best after a loooong steep. 35+ days A very rich custard, with a whole lot of vanilla, and a slight cakey note that I would describe as Twinkie pieces soaked in custard. Also one of my first recipes I've ever made on my DIY journey almost two years ago, but it still keeps calling my name now and then
