Santa's Balls - (Chocolate covered Candy Cane Ice cream)
Description
This tastes like Santa's Balls it's so Christmasy.
After mix & shake, I use an Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner with lukewarm water. Set for 900 seconds, after the process is complete I shake the bottle hard and start another 900-second session, repeating this 3-4 times total.
Most my recipes peak after 2-3 days steep, even custards - sometimes only 24hrs. I don't know what steep time to recommend but you will notice a dramatic difference after 3 days. The chocolate comes to life and hits the front, the mint flows through the entire thing going down with a candy cane ice cream exhale and chocolate finish.
If you dig peppermint ice cream, this is an All Day vape. Great for after meals and on a hot day
This was tested over months from December to April. 2 scoops of Candy Cane Ice Cream with Chocolate shell or mint chocolate chip ice cream - they're interchangeable.
You MUST use the correct bands, Especially with this recipe. You can switch 2 flavors, Sweenter and the Marshmallow, but I'd go with FW, Cap, Pur, TFA or FA Marshmallow - I know Puriulm 2 is rare but it's not a main feature here so put in your favorite.
LB VBIC is the thickest ice cream there is, it's not overwhelming vanilla and it's buttery - the BEST mouthfeel, better than TFA.
Creme de Menthe and Candy Cane are the star attraction here - If you like Bluebell Peppermint Candy cane ice cream, you will love this.
Austrian chocolate is the only chocolate - ALL others pale in comparison. I cannot predict the results if you use an alternative - this stuff is fantastic and you will taste it in this recipe.
These 3 profiles are the notes.
You could leave the chocolate out for a pure candy cane flavored ice cream but I haven't tried that yet. I'd ramp up the candy cane if you leave out the chocolate unless you just want mint ice cream. There's a difference, you'll taste it.
The only ingredient you can alter the amount in any way, is the super sweet. Use any sweetener, and you can cut it in half but it MUST be in the recipe.
These flavors can vary widely if the amounts are changed just a tad... the result will be Mint Whip Cream, which is annoying and not that interesting. The chocolate can easily get buried, so be accurate.
Doesn't need to steep but it will fuse together better and climax after 48 -72 hrs of steep. Especially with a Ultrasonic cleaner.Recipe
