Butter Cookie Custard
Description
This is a simple cookies and custard recipe using shortbread/butter cookies as the star wrapped up in a great custard mix.
FA Custard Premium and INW Custard are such a good custard pairing that I had to use it here. Plus, they're not vanilla custards which allowed me to use WF French Vanilla Thick and not have vanilla just overtake the recipe.
For the shortbread/butter cookies part I tried WF Shortbread cookie at first but it adds an out of place sweet note that I just couldn't seem to balance out. SSA Shortbread Cookie worked much better and when paired with FA Cookie it really shines.
FLV Sweetness was used to sweeten this up a bit but not too much.
Overall it's a really good Butter Cookie Custard recipe if I do say so myself. I hope you enjoy!Recipe
