(Strawberry) Shortcake America Great Again

Description

A dense shortcake with strawberry preserves topped with whipped cream and served in a fresh cream base. Could potentially pair well with some banana cream, caramel, or a blueberry flavor, but haven't personally experimented with any of these. INW strawberry can be replaced 1:2 w/ TFA Strawberry, but I like the syrupy addition to that INW gives. This recipe definitely has to steep for at least a week, but ideally two or else you'll get a perfumey mess.
