1-Up Cranberry

Description

I love, and I mean LOVE Cranberry Sprite. It's one of the best things about the holiday season. I've played with mimicking it in a vape and it just doesn't come across very well without the effervescence. Yet, this was pretty damn close and reminded me more of 7Up Cranberry if they had it. Since doing any kind of soda recipe is never really close I decided to focus on trying to get the flavor right but present it more in a juice or drink way than a full on soda. Out of all the lemon lime flavors out there none of them come as close to the real thing as CAP Lemon Lime. It smells like 7Up or Sprite and it tastes closer than anything else out there, even the actual "soda" flavors. VT Fizzy Sherbet is a great lemon flavor that has a bit of a powdery, almost fizzy mouth feel. It works to at least remind you that you're vaping a soda liquid. SSA Sour Lime is one of my favorite lime flavors. It has a very nice crispness to it with a nice tart bite. This is here to make sure the lemon from Fizzy Sherbet doesn't push the whole thing too far to the lemon side. It also helps to bring that crispness to the front FLV Cranberry is one of my favorite cranberry flavors. It kind of comes across like cranberry Ocean Spray which makes it work great for a cranberry lemon lime soda. To kick the cranberry note up some without hitting "medicine" territory, I went with SSA Cranberry Jam. All the lemon and lime cover the jammy note up just enough to make it taste syrupy which works great here. I added just a touch of VT Shisha Raspberry to help sweeten up the cranberry flavor some and to help the sweet syrupy taste overall. I went with FW Sweetener because it works well and still has some of the syrupy taste without going overboard the way CAP Super Sweet can. FA Pear ups the juiciness while also adding to the sweetness of the whole thing. I kept this low so the pear didn't interact with the lemon lime or cranberry flavor too much. This recipe works really well with coolants if they're your thing. WS-23 works well but it still reminds me so much of something like mint or menthol that I still taste a mintiness. Delosi Ice works well too but I get the same thing. VT Eucalyptus Robusta or WF Eucalyptus Mint work best for me. They're mild at low percentages and don't fully come across as minty or in WF case "too minty". I'm highly enjoying this one and I hope you do as well.
