Red Burley
Description
IMO FLV Red Burley is full and complex enough to be used on its own. Truly one of the best and most versatile tobacco concentrates available. Chocolate, leather, leaf, a little dark caramel, wood, earth - a true pipe tobacco. I add DNB to give it more ash, I like it dirty. I personally bump it to 1.5%, but I think most would enjoy it more at 0.5-1%. For those who have never had DNB and assume it tastes like a cigarette - it does not - but leave it out if you want, it's not going to hurt.
If you want to add a little more complexity try FLV Cured @ 1.75%, FLV Kentucky @ 1.5%, or FLV Native @ 1.5%.
End of the day this is a great, cheap, simple, fast ADV that is always in my rotation. I prefer to wait 10-14 days, but feel free to dig in after 5. If you're adding any of those toppers definitely 2 weeks. And yes, I did search 'red burley' and used the second image that came up. Enjoy. Recipe
