<h3>Sorteal's Vanilla Custard </h3><h4>Description</h4>Most people probably associate my Vanilla Overdose Custard V3 with being "Sorteal's Vanilla Custard" considering how often I have it in rotation. Recently though I've wanted a version of vanilla custard that wasn't quite so insanely vanilla forward and also had a softer vanilla taste overall.

I knew I wanted to use TPA Vanilla Custard II in this but it lacks a really good eggy quality that a custard should have. To correct that I mixed it with FA Custard Premium which also gives the mix a nice buttery custard taste as well.

I added TPA Vanilla Swirl for some extra body and mouth feel, plus it doesn't hurt that it has a very nice vanilla flavor.

To help with both the overall vanilla taste and smoothness I used WF Vanilla Cream Extra.

Finally, I added some SSA Whipped Cream. Not only does it's nice buttery-like note go great here but I find whipped creams just make custard recipes better.

Add whatever sweetener you like. I use FLV Sweetness at 0.5% for this.

This is pretty damn good off the shake but giving it 2 or 3 days really allows FA Custard Premium to come into its own. It just gets better the longer you let it sit.

This is also a great base to build from as well. Strawberry, butterscotch, cookie, caramel and hazelnut have worked well as addons to this.
