Simple Vanilla Ice Cream

Description

I've done a few straight up vanilla ice cream recipes (my Vanilla Sex of Ice Cream V1 & V2) but this is the one I personally mix up more than any other. Variations of these flavors are used in a ton of ice cream recipes and for that reason I almost decided to keep it private. I changed my mind because I can't say I've ever had a better VIC mix. It's just a simple vanilla ice cream that comes across thick with a buttery-like richness and a wonderful vanilla taste. LB Vanilla Ice Cream around 5% has such a rich and almost buttery vanilla ice cream taste. It's a classic. SSA Ice Cream Vanilla is easily my second favorite vanilla ice cream flavor. It has plenty of body, a great vanilla note and a nice ice cream dairy flavor. Vanilla Swirl adds a bright vanilla to the mix which blends with the others very well. Plus it has tons of body and mouth feel. Finally, SSA Whipped Cream adds more of that buttery vanilla and some sweet creaminess to the whole thing. This works great by itself if you want a simple and easy VIC. Sweeten with whatever you like. Personally, I go with about 0.5% FLV Sweetness (sometimes 0.75%). This is good right off the shake but after a day or 2 of steeping it really comes alive. Enjoy!
